BIG bear is a ski resort town where me and the fam went for the new years !
you know fun in the snow about 7000 elevation the ride is about 3 hrs from LA !
BACK IN THE DAYS WE HAD A SMALL CABIN IN BIG BEAR AND WOULD STAY FOR WEEKS IN THE TOWN SO I KNOW THIS ROAD VERY WELL !!
RUNNING SPRINGS, Calif. (KABC) -- A stretch of State Route 330 in the San Bernardino Mountains was closed after the roadway fell away on Tuesday.
The washed out road is located south west of Running Springs.
Caltrans closed Route 330 between Highland and Running Springs.
It was unknown when the road will be reopened.
UPDATE ; IT WILL TAKE ABOUT TWO YEARS TO FI THE DAMAGED ROAD !
