Does your spouse live like they have no home training? Do you clean it up and they come right back and mess it up? It has been wisely said that, "Cleanliness is not next to Godliness... Cleanliness is Godliness!" Are we living in filth and why do we allow this world to keep us filthy? Who should we clean up for? We know that there is a natural connection between the order of our environments and the state of our minds. Clutter weighs us down and stresses us out. Cleanliness keeps our mind clear and our lives organized. If our houses are total disasters, our thinking is going to feel similarly disorganized. A clean, well-organized environment will lift our spirits. Have we not learned that it is our duty to keep clean homes and to maintain personal cleanliness? Why do some of us deserve to be featured on the next episode of the, "Extreme Clutter Show?" What is our emotional attachment to clutter? What are the most neglected areas of cleanliness in our homes? How does Obsessive Compulsive Disorder factor into marriage? How should a spouse suffering with OCD best be handled? Colorectal Cancer Tests:
Depression: If you've felt "down," sad, or hopeless, and have felt little interest or pleasure in doing things for 2 weeks straight, talk to your doctor about whether he or she can screen you for depression.
Diabetes Tests: Have a test to screen for diabetes if you have high blood pressure or high cholesterol.
Mammograms (Women): Have a mammogram every 1 to 2 years starting at age 40.
Osteoporosis Tests (Women): Have a bone density test at age 65 to screen for osteoporosis (thinning of the bones). If you are between the ages of 60 and 64 and weigh 154 lbs. or less, talk to your doctor about whether you should be tested.
Pap Smears (Women): Have a Pap smear every 1 to 3 years if you have been s*xually active or are older than 21.
Prostate Cancer Screening (Men): Talk to your doctor about the possible benefits and harms of prostate cancer screening if you are considering having a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) test or digital rectal examination (DRE).
